Spring Showers Bring...Summer Cruise-ins?!

Once the weather starts to turn warm, thoughts inevitably turn to long drives with open windows.  Car show season is right around the corner and as the summer stretches before us, we'll be wanting to spend time on the open road!

What are you doing to get ready?  Have you checked your battery? You'll want to make sure your windows and doors are in cruise-ready operating condition and touch up any of those pesky road chips that might have gotten overlooked from last season.  Checking your tires, after your vehicle has been sitting all winter is also not a bad idea.

Chevelle Photo Shoot

So excited to have been able to spend the day with one of the most talented photographers I have had the pleasure to meet.  Floyd Dean of Dean Digital Imaging in Wilmington, Delaware was gracious enough to take some time out of his crazy schedule to spend a few hours here with us in Bridgeville.
The weather finally cooperated and he was able to get some amazing outdoor shots.  A larger image is availalbe on the Completed Project page.

We know we can't compete with your Victoria's Secret models Floyd, but thanks again for working us in!

Gene Winfield Class Here!!!

We are excited to have the opportunity to host Gene Winfield, from Winfield Rod & Customs at our shop in August 2012!

This class is a must for the hotrod enthusiast and builder.  A two-day event, there will be an opportunity to learn leading, louvering, basic metallurgy, shrinking, hammer and dolly and tig welding from one of the foremost custom rod builders in the country. Space is limited but anyone who is interested please contact us either from the contact us page by email or phone.

Barn Finds Worth Sharing

Barn-Finds are the car collector's equivalent of the holy grail.  Oft sought after rarities they are the vehicles you might end up climbing over a fence or through a thicket of brambles to get to, never mind the risk you might encounter trying to actually procure one of these rusty, dusty gems from their owners.

Hagerty sums this up very nicely in this month's top article.  Below is an excerpt.  Read the rest of the article at

A Merry Christmas Move!

It's finally happening! After what seems like many long months of construction and logistics we are excited to be making the move from our Greenwood shop to the new location at 114 N. Main Street in Bridgeville.

We are anticipating seeing customers at the new building around the first of January.  The blasting will still remain out in Greenwood and we will continue to schedule other repairs and projects around the move.

All of us here at East Coast are extremely excited and want to thank our customers, friends and family for their continued support.  Wishing you all a very, Merry Christmas!!! See you in the new year!

Thanks!!!

New Building

After many years and much deliberation we have decided to make the move from our current location to a larger shop in the town of Bridgeville.  More room should allow us to expand our collision shop and accomodate a few more restoration projects. We are excited for this new endeavor and will keep you posted as it progresses!
